Not In My Back Yard

Many people don’t understand why a person becomes so addicted to gambling, sex or drugs. Others don’t care – if it doesn’t affect them, why bother trying to understand. Only when it creeps into their homes or community do they open their eyes and listen because now they suffer too – especially when the addict is a son, a daughter, a close family member. What makes it so difficult for the sick and downtrodden to escape through the dark borders of addiction is something so nuts, so corrupt and dark , that some fear writing about it. Communities with wide-spread addiction issues create massive business profits for not only big pharma, but trickle down income to governments and corporations that would rather continue status quo. Addiction is a multi-billion dollar industry here in Vancouver.

Methadone Overdose Deaths

Examining what BC doctors earned in 2014 compared to 2016 when the rules were changed when prescribing methadone, suboxone, legal heroin, diaudid, and other maintenance therapies, is a gold mine of increasing income through social engineering.

There’s a plague of socioeconomic engineering, the application of economic and political means to bring about desired changes in society. Vancouver’s East is the direct and intentional manipulating of people so they give up their freedom of choice and where to live.

Addicts and persons with disabilities have been systematically segregated to Vancouver’s East Side by impeding residential mobility, and shackling victims to community “drug dealers in lab coats” pharmacies. Trying to survive in such a restrictive environment leaves these vulnerable victims no choice but to follow strict bureaucratic regulations, and pharmacy rules. Missing a day for whatever the reason and you’re often out of luck … suffering in opioid withdrawals until the doctor calls the pharmacy to reinstate dispensing methadone or suboxone.

Elite Poison Pushers – The Disease of Greed

The jails are full, the courts are full … not enough social workers to answer calls for help even though hundreds of million are spent each year in Vancouver’s East Side. Bodies lay on cold morgue tables waiting for autopsies while the overflow corpses are stored in funeral homes. Death, day in, day out; lungs stop breathing, bodies piling up.

The nine circles of hell; a place unlike purgatory where you may sometimes escape from; it’s a place you find yourself in amidst dark shadows that torment the mind and soul … a tincture of hell. Those entrenched in addiction feel hopeless, lonely, afraid, and many have a sense of worthlessness … not caring if they live or die. I met one such person who said, “I know who you are. Yes, I would like to talk, but I’m so cold, and I feel like dying.” Many say they are not loved, and I reply, “Yes you are loved, but what you are doing is cursed.”

Pharmacist Prison Sentences

Whether physical or mental suffering, big pharma loves both, not making a distinction in favor of or against a person based on which category a person belongs in. A pharmaceutical company’s ultimate goal is to increase profits for shareholders. While many grow profits ethically, others maximize profits unethically via marketing, deceptive advertising, and outright fraud. It’s when big pharma and a few of their sordid pharmacists wet their beaks with unconscionable greed that our health care system fails. There may or may not be a special place in hell for these predators, but there certainly is here on earth … lock them up behind steel bars.

One such convicted Ontario pharmacist, Waseem Shaheen, trafficked more than 5000 fentanyl patches worth more than $1 million dollars on the street. He had the audacity with criminal intent, to forge prescriptions for dead people to cover his tracks.

In March 2018, following a lengthy trial, Shaheen stood guilty, sentenced to 14 years in prison for dealing fentanyl out of his Rideau Street IDA pharmacy. Over a two-year period before his October 2014 arrest, he was responsible for untold misery and death. He continued to forge prescriptions to get the drugs out of the pharmacy; eventually tipping off police and the Ontario College of Pharmacists after he faked his own armed-robbery to cover his tracks.

Complicity of the CIA in drug trafficking is at the heart of investigative journalist, Gary Webb’s explosive expose, “Dark Alliance” series in 1996.

Society “sees” what they hear and read via news media conglomerates that control what they want us to know. Often, our mind is like a tunnel-vision lens, not seeing things as they are around us; we see them as we are, from where we are at any given moment.

Meanwhile, the CIA stands guilty, complicit in flying tons of cocaine into the United States; landing $900 million dollars into the pocket of “Freeway” Rick Ross living in South Central Los Angeles.
